Cajun Killin’Sep 27 2013

This moody Big Easy mystery takes place during dinner and includes a Cajun band, a Raymond Chandler style detective, wildly funny New Orleans characters and plenty of audience participation. 10% of the fee is donated to the New Orleans Musicians Relief Fund.
Cue the sultry jazz music… “It all started and ended in one of those shadowy clubs with questionable liquor, second rate clientele and first rate Jazz. Chez __(insert your company’s name here)__ was the kind of place some people went to hide from trouble and others went looking for it. The minute she walked in the joint and the drummer missed a beat I knew this was a dame who had brought her own kind of trouble. So it wasn’t long before the bullets started flying and the body hit the linoleum.”
HOW IT WORKS: We bring the mystery to you. You organize the venue, the food and the audience and we bring the entertainment which includes the actors, a comedian and a Cajun band. This mystery is designed to take place during a meal. It starts during cocktails, continues through the meal and ends about an hour after desserts have been served. There is plenty of audience interaction throughout and each table works as a team to try and solve the mystery.
CHARITY: It’s been over 8 years since Hurricane Katrina and New Orleans still has not been fully rebuilt. 10% of the fee for Cajun Killin’ is donated to the New Orleans Musicians Relief Fund.
DURATION: The length of the meal plus 1 hour, approximately 2 – 3 hours.
SPACE: Any private dining area large enough to accommodate your group.
GROUP SIZE: This mystery works best for audiences of 100 – 250 persons.

Bounty HunterSep 27 2013

HOW IT WORKS: Attendees are given a Warrant (a list of human qualities, hobbies, habits, etc.) to track down. They must find a different person for each item on their Warrant. The first person to complete their Warrant delivers it to the Sheriff. This high energy, fast paced icebreaker is a great way to get everyone in the room speaking to everyone else.
But the program isn’t over quite yet. The Warrant is a selection of unique, fun items and once the first Bounty Hunter has delivered his Warrant to the Sheriff, the Sheriff calls upon each person in the Warrant to prove they match the description. For instance, one of the items on the Warrant is to find a “person who tells a good joke”. The person on the Warrant matched with that description must now get up and prove they can indeed tell a good joke.
The program is lead by our facilitator/Emcee/comedian who keeps the program moving, the crowd laughing and everyone getting to know one another even better.

Illinois Jones and the Hidden Treasure of WetamrokSep 27 2013

Illinois Jones (Indiana’s older, less successful brother) needs your help on his next archeological adventure. Your group needs to solve the riddles of the ages in order to discover the hidden treasure of the lost city of Wetamrok. But be wary, tombs and digs can be filled with traps and pitfalls. This is a non-competitive, cooperative program comprised almost entirely of fun, challenging table-top exercises.
While this team building event is a lot of fun it is also an intellectually challenging game. What participants don’t realize but hopefully discover during their adventure is that if they share information, cooperate and really work as a team, the riddles, puzzles and conundrums become a lot easier to solve, and the obstacles and traps less precarious. We ask that you NOT tell your group that this is a cooperative game as part of the process is for them to discover the benefits of team work for themselves. An excellent tool for building cooperation, collective problem solving and information sharing this is also a fun, memorable team building program that your group will be talking about long after the meeting has concluded.
