True Colors is a personality system that will help individuals discover their passions and strengths. When used in conjunction with one of our team building games True Colors takes the experience and outcomes to another level.
True Colors has been around since 1979 when Don Lowry modeled it as a graphical presentation of both Keirsey’s Temperament and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. It is a simple method to discover your passion and find the work you love.
Are you a thinker, always analyzing, like a GREEN? Do you prefer inspiring people and building their self-esteem as a BLUE? Are you the responsible one who is always on time and keeping everyone else on time like a GOLD? Or do you thrive on entertaining and persuading people, like an ORANGE?
HOW IT WORKS: Our certified facilitator takes your group through the True Colors testing, evaluations and discovery program. Each of us has our own style, preferences and ways of operating—so how can we all work together? True Colors is a simple method for gaining insights into why people behave as they do. This interactive, fun-filled workshop helps you bring relationships to a whole new level as you express your own uniqueness and increase your understanding of others. Learn how to turn irritation into appreciation and conflict into cooperation by opening up lines of communication, embracing differences and bringing out the best in everyone.
SPACE REQUIREMENTS: An area large enough to accommodate your group at tables.
DURATION: 1/2 day and full day.
GROUP SIZE: 2 – 40 persons
Myers-Briggs Type IndicatorSep 27 2013

MBTI or Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is the world’s most widely used personality inventory. When used in conjunction with one of our team building games it takes the experience and learning to another level.
In her studies of people and extensive reading of Jung’s theories, Isabel Myers-Briggs concluded there were four primary ways people differed from one another. She labeled these differences “preferences”. One of the practical applications of the MBTI and the understanding of these preferences is in supporting better Teamwork. For example, people who share Sensing and Thinking preferences find they are naturally on the same wavelength; they easily understand one another, making good teammates and partners. Likewise, people who share Intuition and Feeling have a similar kinship among them. However, in the real world it is more likely that you’ll find a mixed bag of people, a variety of types, in the same work group. While this diversity can be a useful strength, contributing to greater depth and breadth of team competence, there will be natural communication barriers within the team due to their natural mental language differences. Such differences can be overcome, and the communication gap bridged with practice learning to “talk” and “think” in a second or third preference language. An MBTI workshop is an introduction to learning the language, habits and culture of other types.
DURATION: 1/2 day or full day. Testing may be done online prior to attending the session.
GROUP SIZE: 1 – 100
SPACE REQUIREMENTS: A private room large enough to accommodate your group.
