Great American Bike/Trike Giveaway
This philanthropic team building program is a win/win for everyone. Your group competes in teams to build and decorate bicycles. The bikes are then donated to underprivileged children or a local organization that assists the needy.
Phase One: Your group is divided into teams and challenged with a number of puzzles and riddles. With each success they earn tools, bike parts, accessories and…improved skills and an awareness of each other’s strengths.
Phase Two: Utilizing their newly earned tools, parts and enthusiasm, teams assemble their bicycles (and possibly tricycles).
Phase Three: Teams take everything they have accomplished and… give it away. That’s right! After all their hard work the pay-off is, they give it away! And when teams see the looks on the faces of the children to whom they give the bikes (trikes) they will expereince a higher sense of accomplishment and receive a big boost in morale.
We will partner with The Boys & Girls Club, the YMCA or a charity of your choice to make sure the bikes go to needy children. Participants should wear comfortable, casual clothing.

TESTIMONIAL: “On behalf of Amgen – Massachusetts I would like to thank Ant & the Grasshopper for making our team-building event a complete success. We had 170 employees participate in the Great American Bike Giveaway. Our team worked hard with the guidance of facilitators Kevin, Jessie, and Craig to put together 31 bikes for the Margaret Fuller House in Cambridge. The Ant & Grasshopper Team made the event fun, easy, and hassle–free. Their flexibility and attention to the detail made this event a complete success and I look forward to working with them in the future. To end a day with 31 happy children and 170 inspired employees was a win-win for all!” ~ Amgen
