Steal the skills to become better communicators.
THE CAPER: Your group is divided into gangs of safe crackers, jewel thieves, and cat burglars. Each of the gangs is competing to pull off the biggest heist of their lives. Who will succeed? The gang with the best communication and cooperation skills.
Just like any great caper there are the physical obstacles such as the security systems and the other gangs trying to beat you to the loot, but there are also the internal obstacles such as organization, creative thinking problems, logic problems and most especially… communication issues.
THE TASKS: Some of the tasks are table top problems (E.G. Analyzing the building’s blueprints to locate the safe). But some of the tasks are quite physical (E.G. Making your way through the laser beams without setting off the alarm). Participants should wear casual clothing and sneakers.
THE LOOT: While the game is a lot of fun participants will take away improved communication skills and learn to work collaboratively. After the heist gangs participate in a debrief on overcoming obstacles to communication, collaboration and the benefits of information sharing, Who knew learning could be so exciting?
