Wacky Outdoor Games

The Program:

We have been running this competitive event for several years now with much success. Our Wacky Outdoor Games is specifically designed so that everyone in your group gets to participate, regardless of their level of athleticism. Some of the games require physical skills while others require mental acuity or creativity. All of them require a desire to have fun! The motto of OUR games is… “Try for the Taupe!” Disclaimer: We are in no way to be confused with, or associated with any other organized sporting associations or institutions. Our games are a complete separate entity from ALL those other games ESPECIALLY (but not exclusive to) the one with the rings and the torch and the flame and stuff. Hell, we couldn’t even have a torch if we wanted to. Not until the court order has been lifted allowing us to use flame again. We have no connection whatsoever with those other games and shouldn’t be confused for them. For example… we don’t even give out medals! We issue ribbons in Gamboge, Slate and Beige. If you are wondering what “gamboge” is, it’s kind of a shade of mustard. But “Grasp for the Gaboge” doesn’t really inspire the competitive spirit, so we will go with our new motto, “Try for the Taupe”, even though none of our ribbons are taupe. So remember, no matter what anyone tells you, we are not affiliated in any way with any other games nor are we even similar in any way. Is that clear enough for you? Thank you.

Hi Kevin,

My name is Ann Fitzgerald. I have worked with you quite often in the past to prepare events for Amerifit Brands, now DSM in Cromwell, CT. Recently I have relocated down South to Atlanta, GA and have found an amazing job working for the owner of one of Atlanta’s most reputable commercial landscape organizations.

We are a fun staff of 150. Every year the owner takes the staff for a three day off-site to one of many different locations here in the South. This year we are heading to the mountains of north GA to a facility called Brasstown Valley, located in Young Harris, GA.

As I stated, we are a fun, competitive group. So much so that the owner of the company makes all the new people, “Rookies” dress up each year to whatever the group agrees upon (you can see some of our rookie photos on our website, http://www.highgrove.net) and has to stay that way for three days. The Rookies are also given a popular song that they must change the lyrics to and perform for the group.

With all that said, having had such successful events with you in the past, I was wondering if you would be willing to travel down South in mid-August to help organize some fun competitive games with our group. The most successful that has worked in the past were the Wacky Outdoor games.

Would it be possible to send me a proposal that I can share with the committee to see if it is something they would be interested in doing. Last year they went bowling during their off-site and the year before hiking. I’m ready to bring in some fun and excitement to this fun, competitive group.

Thank you Kevin! I look forward to hearing back from you.
